For about a week now, I've had to reset my modem anywhere from 3 to 6 times a day. I called Time Warner support for help, and I was placed on hold for longer than the average human can take. After 30 minutes of the most painful on-hold-music, I decided to call really late at night when there would be a slim chance that their lines are so busy. Well, the same thing happened, I was on hold forever.
I had a feeling they set up the support lines that way on purpose, so I called the sales line and sure enough, they picked up in less than 30 seconds. But of course when I asked for support, they transferred me and I was back on the same train. My final attempt at contacting them was to email them. I figured there is no chance they cant reply to this. So I sent an email and asked for a manager to call me, and that my modem seems to have a hardware problem that is causing it to disconnect multiple times a day. I also mentioned that I already reset the modem, already unplugged it, already released and renewed my IP and everything else they would probably tell me short of replacing this modem.
Frankly, I would have preferred it if they didn't reply. I could not believe the message I received after 4 days of waiting for a call or reply. The fucking moron emails me and says "Sorry for the late reply, please contact me if you are still having problems". Wow, if this person was in front of me when they said that, I would probably be in jail right now. This stupid mother fucker, I cant fucking believe this shit. I seriously, really and truly hope the person who replied to my email gets in a serious car wreck and has spends the rest of his life in pain.
